4 Supermoons and 1 Blue Moon in 2020! Don’t Miss Them!

There will be four supermoons and one blue moon in 2020. So mark your calendar and don’t miss them!

What’s a supermoon?

A supermoon happens when a full or new moon coincides with perigee, the moon’s closet point to Earth in its monthly orbit. In other words, any full moon or new moon that comes to within 224,865 miles or 361,885 km (or less) of our planet, as measured from the centers of the moon and Earth, can be called a supermoon.
